Winners of the 4th Crusade
Globally, the 4th Crusade had no benefit for Christians neither for Muslims. Thus, the Venecians got to conquer a bit of land. This Crusade even made it worse for Christians, as it developed more hate between the Eastern and Western Churches. Overall, the 4th Crusade can be described as a disaster, because instead of going to Egypt for their original mission, the Crusaders sacked Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine empire, and killed the empire's emperor.
